FORGED STEEL CHECK VALVES


  • This is the compact check valve design in which the pressure bearing components are forged (body and cover). Suitable for installation in refineries, chemical plants, petrochemical plants, oil industry processes or others where there is corrosion, erosion, or preventing flow control or backflow is required.
  • Designed in accordance with API-602, ISO-15761 and BS-10434.
  • ASME Classes 150, 300, 600, 800, 1500
    Class 2500 in accordance with ASME B16.34.
  • NPS 1/2 to NPS 2 diameters.
  • End types:
    -Welding box end (SW).
    -Threaded ends (S).
    -Integral flanged ends (RF, RTJ).
    -WE ends.

OVERVIEW

DESIGN FEATURES

FORGED STEEL CHECK VALVES

  1. API-602, ISO-15761 and BS-10434 flanged or welded hood design.
  2. Three different types of disc; piston, ball or swing
  3. Integral ring with body welded liner in the seal area for piston and ball types. Renewable body pressed ring for swing type valve.
  4. NPS ¼ to NPS 2 diameters.
  5. Socket weld end dimensions under ASME B16.11, threaded end dimensions under ASME B1.20.1; both for Class 800 and 1500 valves.
  6. WE end dimensions in accordance with ASME B16.25.
  1. RF or RTJ flange dimensions in accordance with ASME B16.5.
  2. End spacing for welded (SW) or threaded (TH) box designs is manufactured in accordance with the manufacturer's standard.
  3. End spacing for flanged valves or valves with WE ends are manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.10.
  4. Classes 150, 300, 600, 800, and 1500 #.
  5. Standard port (standard port) or full port (full port).
  6. Performance testing in accordance with API-598.
