  • For the drinking water conduction, it must be considered that the body and trim materials can react chemically with the water producing oxidation or corrosion that generates toxic materials that affect the quality of the drinking water. To avoid the above, an interior and exterior coating must be used to avoid the contact of water with the manufacturing materials that may react.
  • These valves are generally painted in blue color for easy identification.

    1. Manufactured in accordance with AWWA C515 and MSS-SP-70 standards (AWWA C509 gray iron option available upon request)
    2. Diameters NPS 2 up to NPS 12
    3. Ductile iron body ASTM A536 grade 65-45-12
    4. Ductile iron disc ASTM A536 graph 65-45-12
    5. Encapsulated in rubber (resilient EPDM seals).
    6. Rising stem (OS&Y).
    7. Stem material in 304 stainless steel
    1. Class 200 CWP
    2. Flange dimensions in accordance with ASME B16.1 Class 125.
    3. Exterior and interior with epoxy protective coating (fusion bonded epoxy).
    4. Handwheel operated (operating nut available upon request).
    5. Also manufactured with ASTM B62 bronze trim upon Customer request.
